Absco Professional Quick Dry Polyurethane Primer Sealer offers the latest technology in environmentally compliant wood floor sealers. Absco’s high solid content will seal wood surfaces with 100% polyurethane protection, and will be ready to sand in as little as 2 hours when applied according to directions.

RECOMMENDED USES:
Excellent for sealing most interior wood surfaces, including floors, doors, cabinets & furnitures.

Proper surface preparation is essential to achieve a high quality finish. Read the MSDS sheet and wear proper protection, which may include gloves, eye protection, and/or other protective devices.

Surface Preparation:
New or Newly Sanded Floors or Wood Surfaces:
Prepare the floor according to NWFA or NOFMA accepted standard. The final pass before application of Absco Quick Dry Polyurethane Primer /Sanding Sealer should be with a #100 to #150 grit screen pad or sandpaper. Remove dust completely by sweeping, vacuuming and wiping the floor with a lint free cloth lightly dampened with mineral spirits. The floor and room temperature should be at least 65°F.

Application:
Apply Absco Quick Dry Polyurethane Primer /Sanding Sealer with the grain of the wood. Apply in well ventilated area by brush, roller, spray, EZ way , or lambswool applicator at room temperature and not in direct sunlight. When using a roller work slowly to avoid air bubbles. Screen the floor or work surface in between coats with any of the following : #150 screen disc, #180 grit sand paper, maroon pad or similar in between coats, or until thoroughly dry. Heavy finish application, high humidity, or lack of air flow will extend drying times. If waiting longer than 24 hours between coats, sanding is recommended.

Drying Time:
When applied according to directions, Absco Quick Dry Polyurethane Primer/Sanding Sealer should be to sand and recoat in 2 hours. Heavy application, high humidity or lack of airflow will extend drying times.
